CERVA GROUP a.s., a leading supplier of workwear and personal protective equipment, has successfully acquired the Austrian company LITZ-Konfektion GmbH

An international holding company based in the Czech Republic, CERVA GROUP a.s., has completed the acquisition of Austria's LITZ-Konfektion GmbH after several months of negotiations.

Miroslav Rous, executive director of CERVA GROUP a.s., said about the acquisition of LITZ-Konfektion GmbH: " Thanks to its location and traditional business partnerships, the Austrian company LITZ-Konfektion has a stable position on the markets of Central and Western Europe, especially in Austria, Switzerland and Germany. LITZ-Konfektion GmbH has been operating on the market for over 60 years and has an excellent reputation. Their experience, knowledge of the markets of Central and Western Europe and innovative approaches to the development of materials for protective workwear are of great benefit to us and will move the entire corporation forward. The Austrian company also has a very interesting group of end customers with headquarters in Austria and Germany. Thanks to the acquisition, LITZ-Konfektion GmbH can now offer them for the first time a complete portfolio of CERVA protective workwear and accessories, including gloves, shoes and head protection.”

According to Miroslav Rous, LITZ-Konfektion GmbH operates production facilities in Europe and South East Asia, which currently employ more than 500 people. This is of great importance to the further development and promotion of the CERVA GROUP a.s. on the world market.

According to Miroslav Rous, the acquisition of LITZ-Konfektion GmbH represents a first, but by no means the last significant step for CERVA GROUP a.s., in the Austrian market. "We are planning further investments in Central and Western Europe, and Austria is one of our priority areas," said Rous.
