Industrial safety helmets are used in professions with a risk of objects falling on workers’ heads (builders, loggers, etc.) and in professions presenting other hazards, such as excessive heat (melting furnace operators, etc.) or electric shock. Climbing helmets are used in professions where working at heights poses a risk of falls from a height. These helmets can be combined with eye protection or face protection as well as hearing protection.
